As you can imagine life is pretty darn "good" for Brad since
he was adopted by Herbert and Faith Goodie!
Every day presents something new for Brad to experience and learn.
One of the first things Faith did was get Brad out of the
sissy pink tuxedo he arrived in.
She knew Herbert wouldn't like seeing his new son dressed in that at all.
I think what she chose for him to wear is much better.
Brad was a little uneasy at first.
He knew he really liked Faith a lot and he LOVED their house
but everything was super different from what he was used to
and deep down -
he was kinda scared of it all.
He had absolutely NO idea what to expect next.
First thing Faith did was feed him some lunch -
just like any good mommy would do first and Brad really loved that!
(She made him a grilled cheese sandwich)
And then she put him down on the floor to hang out on his own
while she finished up on cleaning the house.
Once again, Brad didn't quite know what to think of that
and he felt scared being there on the floor all by himself.
But he wasn't all alone for long,....
The Goodie's puppy, Benji, had been patiently waiting
for his chance to meet Brad.
They were both a bit shy about getting to know each other.
Brad had never seen a puppy before and when he first saw Benji
he almost started crying cause Benji scared him.
But that didn't last long at all and Benji got close enough
for Brad to pick up and hug.
From that moment on, Brad and Benji were BFF's!
Not a lot of people know it,
but the Goodies LOVE the holidays, esepcially Halloween
and it was Halloween time when they adopted Brad.
Their house was decorated to the max!
Brad loved that but what he really loved the most
is when Faith got done with all her housework she cranked
up the stereo and the two of them rocked out together!
Yep, Brad was as happy as a Sim kid could be with his new mom!
But he was still a little bit scared
about meeting the rest of the Goodie family.
But there really wasn't any reason for Brad to worry.
His new big brother Harlan was very happy about getting a little brother!
And Harlon spent the whole afternoon playing with Brad
and of course Brad thought that was the most fun thing ever!
And then Herbert arrived home from work.
Meeting his brand new dad was the most exciting part of the day for Brad.
It was just as wonderful for Herbert too!
The one thing the Goodies have a lot of is LOVE!
And Brad felt loved by everyone in his brand new family.
Herbert didn't waste any time in teaching Brad how to walk.
It was a Goodie family tradition that all the dad's
teach their toddlers to walk
and Herbert was really happy when Brad learned so quickly!
In the days that followed Brad loved watching
his dad and older brother hang out together and he couldn't
wait until he was old enough to do the things they did.
Like play darts -
which Herbert and Harlon did a lot.
And Harlon had a lot of questions for Faith and Herbert
about his little brother -
especially when it came to potty training.
Then, the next thing Brad knew -
it was time to poof into a Sim kid.
EVERYONE was excited about Brad's birthday!!
And that's all for now.
